Chris Russell of ESPN 980 Washington reports that nose tackle Albert Haynesworth will report to Redskins training camp. “Of course he will,” said a source.
The reasons are obvious. Haynesworth wants out of Washington, and the quickest way to force the team’s hand is to cause another media blitz by showing up on time. Washington can save $3.4 million under the projected salary cap by releasing or trading Haynesworth before the season.
The rumors were churning that the Titans or possibly the Eagles were two teams that would consider adding Haynesworth, who was the biggest free agent bust of last season. He may report to camp, but will he be able to pass the fitness test in less than a week this year?
I don’t think anybody is reporting to camp on time. hehe
By the way, would the Skins really be stupid enough to let him go to the Eagles? Never mind don’t answer that.
Haynesworthless is a BUM! Trade him to a Canadian team for a moose!
