Quarterback Rex Grossman is currently a free agent and would love to re-sign with the Washington Redskins for the 2011 season and compete for the starting job. Grossman was signed last off-season to back up starter Donovan McNabb.
He ended up starting the final three games of the regular season after McNabb and offense coordinator Kyle Shanahan couldn’t seem to work their differences out. Grossman on the other hand loves working under Shanahan’s system since he’s been with him for the past two seasons (one in Houston and this past season in Washington). Grossman knows he will have to compete with John Beck who’s been promoting himself as the Redskins starting quarterback for 2011.
