The Tables Are Turned!

Can losing be great, folks?  Because this—a great effort by WFT in crunch time and throughout the game.  A comeback and then a potential comeback—way to go WFT!

The tables are turned on NYG, 2-pt. conversations, and QB controversies.

  • After an awful deflating turnover in crunch time, Allen showed the gusto to lead the team down the field and give us a chance to win. Every player on the field knew Allen showed: grit and leadership. To get off the mat, and methodically lead the team into a position to win. Without his stat line, Kyle Allen is our future here in DC!
  • Last season, Miami Dolphins in the winless bowl went for 2 against our defense and failed. That feeling: the best all season. It is OK for us to fail at the end like that because we were on the road and the reent history dictating 21-20 WFT as our best shot at a win.
  • NYG last season took the opening kickoff of OT and drove straight down the field for an easy victory. This season, Jones got the victory formation but not the game winner, again.  Give that to the NYG defense.
  • Please bury any talk of seeing any QB the rest of the season with good luck. GO WFT, Today. Division in sight with 2nd coming of Tony Romo—Kyle Allen, #8.
  • The 2 pt. conversations—why not on every touchdown. The pct. Is around 46%, miss one ready for the next…Helps when we need one like today. I just wonder why Allen did not have a run for 2 yards but must have to do with his all out effort on every play.
  • Lombardi with Haskins or Allen—not impossible. Way to go, WFT!
