After tight end Jordan Reed missed his third straight practice Friday because of a concussion, Redskins Coach Jay Gruden said he’s listed as questionable to play, Master Tesfatsion of the Washington Post reports.
The Redskins are holding out hope, but it’s difficult to be optimistic about Reed’s status for Sunday’s game against the Eagles.
Reed is still in the concussion protocol, and Gruden said he will visit the doctors Friday afternoon. The Redskins hope to have a better idea about his health this evening.
“That’s up to [the doctors] really,” Gruden said. “If they say he’s okay, he’s okay. If Jordan feels okay, then he’ll be fine. But we wait and see, A, how Jordan is feeling and then, B, what the doctors say. Actually, the doctors are first, Jordan’s second.”
