Running backs coach Bobby Turner, special teams assistant coach Richard Hightower, and assistant offensive line coach Chris Morgan all have been told they will not be part of Jay Gruden’s staff with the Redskins in 2014.

Turner followed Mike Shanahan to Washington in 2010 after spending the previous 15 seasons in Denver. Turner also carried the title of assistant head coach to Shanahan, who was fired December 30th.

Hightower was with Washington for the last four seasons as an assistant, the last two of which were spent helping the secondary and special teams.

Offensive assistant Aubrey Pleasants will stay with the team according to the Washington Post.

The team still has not officially named the new coordinators, though the speculation still centers on Sean McVay for offense and Jim Haslett for defense.
