The Kansas City Chiefs started out red hot to begin the season winning their first nine games but have since lost three straight, two of which two the Denver Broncos. The Chiefs are in need of a slump buster and are in luck as they play the Washington Redskins who have the second worst record in the NFL this season. With their loss last week to the New York Football Giants the Redskins are officially out of the playoffs which has seen a drop in ticket prices for their upcoming contest against the Chiefs by 28% over the last week. As a result Redskins tickets for this game are going for half of the home average of $174 and is their cheapest game of the season with the average ticket costing $91.
The Redskins made the playoffs as the NFC East division champion a season ago but looks like a completely different team this season as Robert Griffin III has not been able to recapture the form he was in before tearing his ACL in the Wild Card round. Washington has been in turmoil the entire season and it has finally come to a head the past few weeks with players taking jabs at each other in the media, namely Santana Moss and RGIII as they have regressed to one of the worst teams in the league with a record of 3-9.
On the other hand the Kansas City Chiefs have been the exact opposite of the ‘Skins as last season they were the worst team in the NFL and had the first pick in the draft but are out to a 9-3 start as they begin the home stretch of the season. This game will be between two teams moving in opposite directions but with plenty of seats still available on the secondary market fans can Get-in for as low as $5.
