
Five weeks ago at 3-6 Redskins coach Mike Shanahan basically declared the season over.
What a difference five weeks make.
Now the Redskins are riding high, and Sunday even without star rookie QB Robert Griffin III, the Skins pounded the Browns 38-21 in Cleveland to get to 8-6.
It was another Washington rookie that stole the show Sunday, as Kirk Cousins threw for 329 yards and two touchdowns filling in for Griffin.
