Safety Brandon Meriweather Done for the Year with Torn ACL

The season is over for safety Brandon Meriweather, as he tore his anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in Sunday’s game against the Eagles.

It was Meriweather’s first game of the season. He had been sidelined by an injury to his left knee that he aggravated twice. He will have surgery to repair the torn ACL, head coach Mike Shanahan said.
