Redskins veterans will report to training camp today

Well, ladies and gentlemen: five-plus months without professional football in our nation’s capital is about to end.

The Redskins veteran players will join the rookies who have already reported to training camp today, marking the “official” start of training camp for the 2012 season.

The first practice won’t take place ’til tomorrow, with today’s agenda comprising veterans taking their physical examinations, and highly prized rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III making his first official press conference as a signed member of the Redskins. His press conference will take place at 5:30pm EST today.
