Redskins Announce the Re-Signing of DE Darrion Scott

The Redskins on Monday announced the re-signing of backup defensive end Darrion Scott.

Scott, a five-year veteran who appeared in seven games for Washington last season — recording four tackles — would have become an unrestricted free agent on March 13th.

Terms of the the contracts were not released. Scott last season played on a $685,000 salary.

    You can see the emphasis by ALLEN on the lines first. Great philosophy in my estimation. Both a starter on the o-line and a d-line back-up in the house.

    I would get a FA for LG or G/C, draft a high R-OT, lose COOK. MONTGOMERY is done.

    Add FA NT AUBRAYO FRANKLIN, re-sign ADAM CARRIKER, and draft a 7th round DE. SCOTT is done which probably means we say good-bye to KEDRICK GOLSTON, a man who I feel has done more with less on the d-line than any REDSKIN since DARYL GRANT.
