Redskins suffer crushing loss in OT; defeated by Dallas 27-24

After making their way back with a touchdown with 14 seconds remaining in regulation, the Redskins dropped a game to the division rival Cowboys in overtime, 27-24 on Sunday.

Rex Grossman’s scoring toss to Donte Stallworth from four yards out finished an 89-yard drive, knotting up the contest at 24-all.

Graham Gano had a chance in the extra session to snap a five-game losing streak.

From 52 yards out, Gano missed his second kick of the afternoon, pulling it wide right.

On the next possession, Tony Romo found Dez Bryant for a 26-yard hookup.

It led to a 39-yard game-winning field goal from Dan Bailey with 9:21 into overtime, to send the Redskins to their sixth consecutive setback.

For the Redskins, Grossman accounted for all three (one rushing) of their touchdowns on the afternoon.

Next: Sunday November 27 at Seattle Seahawks, 4:05 ET.

Nice job Shanny. Calling timeout right when the Boys are about to run out of time to kick their game winning field goal. They would have been penalized five yards and had a loss of down for Romo trying to call timeout. The pressure would have been on. Go ahead and win a few games now and ruin that draft pick.
