Source: Fred Davis in a walking boot; diagnosed with Grade 1 ankle sprain

UPDATE: John Keim of the Washington Examiner reports that Davis has been diagnosed with a grade one ankle sprain. Despite the injury, Davis did not miss any time Sunday against Buffalo.  It is unclear whether or not he will miss any time in practice this week.  The injury is a minor one but his ability to practice any to play next Sunday against the 49ers will depend on how well he can run.

Redskins tight end Fred Davis has a walking boot on his left foot according to Chris Russell of 980ESPN in Washington on Monday.

The USC product had a team-high eight receptions and 94 yards in the 23-0 loss to Buffalo on Sunday in Toronto.
