Redskins TE Cooley has broken left index finger
The Washington Times expects the fractured finger of Redskins tight end Chris Cooley to “keep him out for a while.”

Cooley broke his left index finger on a big hit from Eagles cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha, and did not return.

The versatile tight end following the 20-13 loss to NFC East rival Philadelphia: “I’m frustrated that I can’t keep playing and that I can’t stay out there for us,” said Cooley. “It just wasn’t an option.”
