Source: Ex-Seahawks LB Tatupu To Visit Redskins Wednesday

Former Seahawks Captain

Cornerback Kelvin Hayden will be having company during his visit Wednesday.

With Hayden ready to come in tomorrow, former Seahawks linebacker Lofa Tatupu is scheduled to make an appearance with the team along with the ex-Colts defensive back.

With linebacker Rocky McIntosh likely on his way out, Tatupu would be an excellent replacement for McIntosh.

Tatupu, a 2005 second-round pick from USC, registered 88 tackles, one sack and an interception return for touchdown last season in Seattle.

The free agent linebacker is a three-time Pro Bowler and ’07 All-Pro selection.

Talk about making a splash in free agency, if the ‘Skins scoop up both Tatupu and Hayden for Jim Haslett’s defense.

I think Tatupu will be a REDSKIN. This is one area of need at this point. And I believe HAYDEN to be an upgrade over BUCHANON. BARNES?….Hands down.
