Mike Jones of the Washington Post reports whenever the lockout is lifted, free agency could begin and the Redskins have money to spend and are chomping at the bit, according to people inside the organization.
The team has a number of positions to fill, and with the question marks about Donovan McNabb, the first position the team may have to look for is that of quarterback.
While there is not much in free agency, how about a deal with the team they traded with last season – the Eagles? The Skins give up a couple picks for Kevin Kolb, and lock him up with a 3-4 year deal. Sounds crazy, but for a team that has money to play with – why not?

HALT IMMEDIATELY! You guys remember what happened last time we took a QB from them and it didn’t end up to well. If the Redskins were smart they’d stray clear from this. Believe me they don’t need to repeat the same mistake again
This is a joke. Why give up MORE picks? And to the Eagles?!? And why would they deal him to us? We already got swindled in the McNabb deal. And Kolb, although looking fine at parts of this year, looked awful for a few games…not even servicable. Why would we give up ANYTHING to get him?!?!?
