University of Colorado OT Nate Solder to Talk with Skins

National Football Post reports that the Redskins will visit with University of Colorado offensive tackle Nate Solder.

University of Colorado offensive tackle Nate Solder is scheduled to visit the Washington Redskins next week, according to a league source with knowledge of the situation,

He visits the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday and Friday. He visited the Dallas Cowboys on Monday. Solder has previously visited the New England Patriots.

A consensus All-American selection, Solder is one of the top offensive tackle prospects and projected to be drafted in the top half of the first round. The 6-foot-8, 307-pounder ran the 40-yard dash in 4.96 seconds at the NFL scouting combine.

The Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year bench pressed 225 pounds 21 times and registered a 32-inch vertical leap.
