Some members of the Washington Redskins will find out whether they’ll be playing a game in January this evening, as the NFL Pro Bowl rosters for the 2011 game are set to be released tonight.
The announcements will come via a prime-time special, scheduled to air on NFL Network.
Despite leading the league in votes from the fans at the Safety position, LaRon Landry will not be heading to Hawaii to play in the game after being placed on injured reserve due to the injury to his Achilles Tendon. Fan voting consists of 1/3rd of the selection process, with the other 2/3rd coming from coaches and players.
The 2011 Pro Bowl will be played a week before Super Bowl XLV and return to Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii. The game will be televised live on Sunday, Jan. 30 on FOX at 7 p.m. ET.
