Daniels, Kemoeatu placed on Injured Reserve

Likely in another nod towards taking a look at younger players who can contribute in the future, the Redskins have placed Defensive End Phillip Daniels and Nose Tackle Ma’ake Kemoeatu on season-ending Injured Reserve.

Rob Jackson, drafted by the Redskins in the 7th round of the 2008 draft, will take Daniels’ place on the active roster. The Redskins signed DL Darrion Scott to take Kemoeatu’s place on the roster, although Nose Tackle Anthony Bryant seems to have wrested the starting position from Kemoeatu in recent weeks.
