Chelle's Picks 12-19-10

6-9, Cool!  Looks like I’m on track to beat Shanahan’s record for the season, assuming he gets fired before we play the Giants.

Four to Watch:

Jacksonville vs. Indianapolis:  The AFC South is up for grabs.  Peyton Manning has had a tough season.  Granted, he doesn’t have all the weapons he’s accustomed to, but the Colts can still be explosive.  And Jacksonville has been steadily earning their dues.  Today will determine whether they’ve made it or not.  I’m predicting not yet, Colts win by 14.

Philadelphia vs. New York Giants:  Well the NFC East no longer belongs to the Washington Redskins.  In years past, I may have preferred the Giants, but this year, my heart’s with the city of brotherly love.  And so is the talent.  Philadelphia’s got it going on, and I’m taking them for a win in New York and a bid for the playoffs.

Washington vs. Dallas:  How the rivalry has eroded!!  All of the emotion is still there, but without any of the hope or high stakes.  The only way this game can be good is if the fans make it that way, so let me hear you HOLLAH for a Burgundy & Gold victory.

Falcons vs. Seahawks:  These are the games that make or break a team.  The Falcons have a good thing going.  They just might meet up with the online casino Ravens or the Patriots in February.  But they’re traveling to the West Coast to play a team that’s tough, if quiet.  If they take the game seriously, they’ll show that they’re ready for the big one.  Otherwise, it’ll be a long plane ride back.  I’m banking on Ryan to bring this one in.

The Saints will take the Ravens in Baltimore’s home stadium.

 Who Cares?

Buffalo will lose to Miami.

Arizona will win against the Panthers, and why hasn’t John Fox been fired yet?

Tampa Bay will win against the Lions.

Rams will beat the Chiefs, who are sorely missing their QB.

Browns will beat the Bengals.

Houston will beat the Titans.

The Jets will lose to the Steelers.

The Raiders will beat the Broncos, and Tebow will have his first taste of turf in the NFL.

Green Bay will miss their starting QB more than ever as they lose to the Patriots.

Chicago will win over Minnesota.
