Chelle’s Picks 11-07-10

5-8.  No.  I’m not dyslexic.  Just not, apparently, all that up on football.  My record last week is almost as bad as Brad Childress’ on the season!  But I have the feeling I’m going to do better this week than him, only because my job isn’t on the line 😉  Oh, and I don’t have to worry about personnel issues.  I only have to put up with myself, and I’m about to get fired!

 4 To Watch:

Miami vs. Baltimore:  Ravens look like a tough team, until they face another AFC competitor like the Dolphins. And the Dolphins always play well against the Ravens.  Despite that, the Ravens will still win.  Good game, though, and fun to watch.

New York Giants vs. Seattle:  New York has finally figured out their formula—stick with the run. Eli needs it to feel confident in his game.  But they always have a hard time, like any NFC team, when they travel to the West Coast.  Still, Seattle has been struggling this year, and we’re going to see a rough and tumble game today.  New York will pull it out, but we might see more than one interception from casino Eli before they put it away.

Indianapolis vs. Philadelphia:  After the Redskins played such a tough, tight game against both of these great teams, and after the Eagles swapped out QB after QB throughout the season, this game will be anything but smooth.  Still, it will be professional; even the mistakes will look planned.  And my money’s on the NFC’s Green and White.

Dallas vs. Green Bay:  Green Bay beat the Jets last week against my prediction.  At home this week, they’ll kill Dallas.  And I can’t wait Le site Super casino . to watch!!

The biggest upset this week is that even the Skins aren’t playing, we’re still making the news.  That’s mainly because the Shanahan father-son duo can’t figure out why they pulled McNabb during the last two minutes of the Detroit game.  My guess, they don’t know.

It seemed like a good idea at the time—they needed someone to blame and couldn’t face mom over the holiday season while pointing fingers at one another. Now, it doesn’t sit so well with the media, the team, or themselves.

So why don’t they admit the obvious:  the offense isn’t functioning, period. Our line isn’t blocking the run or holding a steady pocket.  The result?  Our run game is struggling, our passer is getting hurt, we’re put in 3rd and long often, and we can’t convert.

That’s not a McNabb problem.  So stop talking about him and fix the offense.  If that means getting a new coordinator in, do it.  Just don’t call Sherm Lewis.

 Who Cares?

 Jets will beat the Lions.

Cleveland will lose to New England

Houston will win against San Diego

 Buffalo will lose to Chicago

Arizona will win against Minnesota, Brad Childress will lose his job, and Brett Favre won’t—again, to all of our shame.

Tampa Bay will lose to the Falcons

New Orleans will win against the Panthers.

Kansas City will win against the Raiders

 Cincinnati will lose to Pittsburgh.
