With McNabb ailing, Grossman to sit out preseason finale

Backup QB Rex Grossman could see action in Week 1 against the Cowboys. Donovan McNabb is questionable for the season opener, though he is expected to play. McNabb’s status for the season opener could affect how much Grossman plays in the preseason finale Thursday against Arizona, coach Mike Shanahan said. Grossman, however, said on Sunday that he won’t play against Arizona.
