McNabb to Host “Hell Week” for Teammates Near Phoenix

USA Today says that new QB Donovan McNabb is hosting a series of workouts known as “Hell Week” near his Phoenix home prior to camp:

Redskins QB Donovan McNabb invited offensive teammates to his annual “Hell Week” – a series of workouts near his Phoenix-area home for the week prior to the start of ‘Skins training camp July 29. Receivers Devin Thomas, Santana Moss and Malcolm Kelly are among those expected to participate in McNabb’s regular offseason workout program beginning Sunday in Phoenix, where temperatures are expected to top 110 degrees this week. “It’s a different mindset,” McNabb told The Washington Post. “I prepare guys the way I prepare.” McNabb, who was traded by Philadelphia in April, invited Redskins receivers, tight end and running backs to the camp to be held at Fischer Sports, his trainer’s 20,000-square foot workout facility. “I think it’s important for the specialists on the offense to have that chemistry, to have that bond, where they can trust me and I can trust them,” he said.
