Haynesworth Will Train for Season, Will Stay Quiet

Starting………. NOW – the Albert Haynesworth situation is about to go totally private.  According to beat reporter Rick Maese of the Washington Post, Haynesworth released this statement this morning:

“Despite my current differences with the Redskins, I have always planned to attend training camp and honor my contract. I am continuing to prepare for the season individually and will report on time, in shape and ready to play football. Any issues I have with the club I will discuss privately and therefore do not plan to make any further public comments.”

Big Al is well within his rights to play things close to the vest on this, from now on, ehem…. but in my own humble opinion I think from soup to nuts Haynesworth and his agent’s strategy on this has been a total disgrace. Disgraceful to the trust and faith of his teammates, the Redskins organization as a whole, to the players association, and to the NFL in general. To quote Stu from The Hangover who really sums it up best…

“The whole situation is completely… F$%&!D”

Do you think Haynesworth had anything to do with LT being charged for rape? There are reports out ther stating he was in the room as well.
