Video: Focusing On McNabb’s Strengths In New Offense

Here’s a feature the NFL Network had on Donovan McNabb and why they believe he will thrive in Shanahan’s new offense in 2010:

Highlights:

– McNabb will only run if he has to in this offense… he understands pressure, has great pocket presence, great downfield vision even under heavy pass rush.

– Shanahan has a great way of changing ‘landmarks’ from where QB’s can throw from to keep defensive off balance, will keep McNabb on his feet longer over 60 minutes.

– Between McNabb’s strengths and Shanahan’s playbook, there will be more time for plays to develop and the receivers can better free up down field for some big plays.
