Campbell Finally Signs Tender

As expected, Washington Redskins quarterback Jason Campbell signed his one-year tender offer of $3.1 million Monday, but he’s still hoping the club can trade him. Campbell will not report to this weekend’s three-day voluntary minicamp, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

    They better trade him. Nothing good can come from having two starters on the same team. Not like they signed McNabb to be a backup. The longer they wait to deal Campbell, the less leverage they’ll have.
