Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com is reporting this morning that Redskins defensive coordinator Greg Blache has interviewed for the team’s head coaching position already. By interviewing Blache, the Redskins have complied in with the NFL’s “Rooney Rule”, which requires at least one minority candidate to be interviewed for every head-coaching vacancy. This now opens the door for the Redskins to name any replacement they choose for Jim Zorn and rumors are that the team is in talks with former Broncos head coach Mike Shanahan.
