Although reports have confirmed that former Broncos coach Mike Shanahan is in talks with Dan Snyder and the Redskins, the National Football Post hears it’s already a done deal and that the terms have already been worked out in anticipation of firing Jim Zorn and turning over the team to Shanahan. The Denver Post reported on Thursday night that former Broncos coach Mike Shanahan is in talks with the Redskins to become their next coach. At his introductory news conference Thursday, Bruce Allen, Washington’s new executive vice president of football operations and general manager, said he would evaluate Zorn over the remainder of the season.
