After throwing a beautiful touch-pass to Marko Mitchell for 6 points, Chase Daniels took the lead over Jason Campbell, Todd Collins, and Colt Brennan in the preseason pass touchdowns category.

With his second touchdown pass of the night, he doubled his lead and began running away the contest. Daniel’s 6 for 8, two touchdown performance put him up for consideration as to who will backup and possibly over throw Jason Campbell for the starting quarterback position.

But before I began the treasonous talk of replacing JC17, I should say for as well as Chase Daniel played, the other QB’s turned in sub-par performances. It wasn’t that Chase was that good but more the fact the other QB’s were that bad.

More eyes will be on Chase Daniel during next Fridays game against New England. If each quarterback repeats their performance from last night, the Redskins could possibly heading into a full fledge quarterback controversy.
