Skins Sign WR Hackett, DL Marquardt; Release WR Williams

Pro Football Weekly reports on some Redskins roster moves today:
The Redskins have signed WR D.J. Hackett and DL Michael Marquardt and have waived/injured WR Roydell Williams.
Hackett spent last season with the Panthers and four seasons with the Seahawks under Jim Zorn, who was the team’s QB coach at the time. He will battle with rookie Marko Mitchell, third-year WR Marques Hagans and others for a roster spot.
Marquardt spent last season on the Eagles’ practice squad.
Williams joined the team in May. He suffered a broken pinkie on Sunday and likely will be rehabbing it for 4-6 weeks.

Is it just me; or does anyone else question why another defensive lineman is brought in when the o-line is in shambles. The incompetence of the organization to not address the situation was bad enough. Now its happening all over again & pre season has’nt even started. The same individuals are getting hurt, & the o-line is getting beat like a drum each practice. “Syderatto” & Zorn better wake up & look @ available o-lineman like Levi Jones or Jon Runyan or this season is gonna be a disaster!!!!
