Theismann Thinks the Redskins and Campbell are Playoff Bound in 2009

NFL.com’s Pat Kirwan was on hand this past week at the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship, and talked to a number of past and present NFL folk on his show on SIRIUS NFL Radio show, and wrote about the notes in his blog on the site. Here’s an interesting tidbit that former Skins QB Joe Theismann threw out about Jason Campbell and the team according to Kirwan:

Former Redskins quarterback Joe Theismann is absolutely convinced that Jason Campbell can lead Washington to the playoffs and predicts the team will win the NFC East.

Theismann has a lot more confidence than others around the league, who seem to think that Campbell and the Skins will crash and burn this year. We shall see.

I love the skins, but I do not see any better than another 8-8 season. Wonder how much Snyder paid him to say that?
