Scout.com reports that the Skins have come to terms with three more free agents:
WR Keith Eloi, DL J.D. Skolnitsky, and LB Darrel Young participated in the team’s mini-camp last weekend on a tryout basis and signed this week. The team also released P Zac Atterberry.
The 5-foot-10, 190-pound Eloi spent the last two seasons at Nebraska-Omaha after transferring from William Rainey Harper College, where he was a two-time junior college All-American. For his career at Nebraska-Omaha, Eloi registered 57 catches for 749 yards and five touchdowns. He also returned 25 kickoffs for 663 yards (26.5 avg.) and one touchdown.
The 6-foot-5, 263-pound Skolnitsky played the last three seasons at James Madison before leaving the school after his junior campaign. As a junior in 2008, Skolnitsky registered 61 tackles, including 10.5 for loss, 4.5 sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery for the CAA champion Dukes. Skolnitsky was born Nov. 6, 1986, and attended Fairfax (Va.) High School.
The 5-foot-11, 248-pound Young was a four-year starter at Villanova and earned third-team All-CAA honors last season when he recorded 73 tackles, including nine for loss, two sacks and three passes defensed. In his 44-game career, the Amityville, N.Y., native logged 244 tackles, including 19.5 for loss, six sacks, one interception, one forced fumble and three blocked kicks. Young was born April 8, 1987.
