Could QB Leftwich End up with the Skins?

The Redskins have a tough decision to make about the QB spot, and one player that will be out there once Free Agency starts is Bryon Leftwich, who just collected a Super Bowl ring with the Steelers. Being from the DC area, would Leftwich be a good fit for the Skins? The Chicago Tribune talks about it:

Byron Leftwich, just 29 and with 46 career NFL starts, looks more attractive every day to teams such as the Jets and Bears. Rumors at the Super Bowl linked Leftwich to his hometown Washington Redskins, but now the Jets could up the ante for Leftwich once free agency begins Feb. 27, and the Bears can’t ignore the process if they are serious about a challenger for Orton.
