Redskins Announce General Admission Ticket Prices to Stay the Same

The Redskins announced today that they are holding general admission ticket prices steady for a third straight year because of the issues facing the economy. The team announced Wednesday that prices—ranging from $29 to $99—will remain the same for the 2009 season. The team has increased general admission prices only twice (in 2000 and 2006) since Dan Snyder bought the team in 1999.

“We work hard to hold the line on price increases, and are obviously sensitive to the economic realities faced by our fans,” said Mitch Gershman, the team’s chief operating officer. The Redskins have sold out every home game since 1966.
