The Redskins placed defensive tackle Lorenzo Alexander on injured reserve today. Alexander, 25, went down with a hamstring injury in Sunday’s 10-3 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles and finished the 2008 campaign with 17 tackles and two sacks.
