Redskins Prepare For Last Preseason Game With Jaguars

The Redskins play their last preseason game of the season tomorrow night at home against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Coach Jim Zorn plans to play the starting offensive team well into the action in Landover. Washington has a last chance to get things in-sync ahead of the season opener with the New York Giants a week from tomorrow night.

Running back Clinton Portis tried to scamper behind an offensive line that was ineffective against the Carolina Panthers in a 47-3 loss. Coach Jim Zorn concedes some roster spots remain up for grabs and that gut wrenching choices will be made after the game with the Jags. The Redskins have cut tight end Jason Goode. He played his college ball at Maryland. Goode may be resigned later to join the practice squad.
