The Redskins are back on the practice field, anxious to put to bed bad memories from Saturday night’s blowout loss in Charlotte. The good news is defensive end Jason Taylor’s strained knee isn’t that serious. There is optimism the veteran may be back in time for the season opener a week from Thursday night against the New York Giants. Taylor has started 130 straight games. Coach Jim Zorn says the starters will play at least one series Thursday night in Landover against the Jacksonville Jaguars to end the preseason.
