The secondary of the Redskins could get a boost Saturday night on the road against the New York Jets with the return of Carlos Rogers.  Some other star players are resting injured hamstrings, such as safety LaRon Landry and wide receiver Antwaan Randle El.  Defensive end Andre Carter’s father, Rubin, paid a visit to his son at training camp yesterday.  Rubin Carter was a star on the 1977 Denver Broncos team that made the Super Bowl.  He says it’s nice to have a chance to see his son practice.  Rubin Carter was the head coach at Florida A&M lately.
