The Redskins are the first team in the league to open training camp. A couple of injuries already are plaguing the Burgundy and Gold. Defensive end Phillip Daniels has torn an ACL and will be out for the year. Linebacker London Fletcher says it’s a challenge to lose a player of Phillip’s caliber and character this early in training camp. Also hurt from the defensive line is Alex Buzbee out of Georgetown with a ruptured Achilles Tendon. Coach Jim Zorn says he’s pleased to see many of the systems he implemented during Organized Training Activities carried out already in camp.
