ProFootballTalk.com is reporting that Skins OT Chris Samuels had surgery on Monday to clean out some loose particles in his elbow.  The 2000 first-round pick of the Redskins is expected to be okay, and reports say that he’ll be able to even start lifting weights next week.  Samuels is a huge piece of that Redskins O-line, a line that was battered most of last season.  If he’s able to get through this minor surgery without issues, it’s for the better he gets it done now before the start of camp next month.
