Redskins Launch Last Week Of OTAs
Posted by Matt Loede on June 10th, 2008 filed in NewsThe Redskins braved blistering heat to kick off the last week of organized team activities. Guard Randy Thomas likes the torrid temperatures. He says it beats two-a-day workouts in the height of summer in July. No shows were running back Clinton Portis, who had an excuse. And, cornerback Shawn Springs. He hasn’t shown up yet for any of the nonmandatory drills at Redskins Park. Training camp opens late next month.
