Mitchell Named Running Backs Coach

Washington Redskins running backs coach Stump Mitchell

Where Jim Zorn goes, Stump Mitchell will apparently follow; according to Joseph White of the Associated Press, Mitchell will join the Redskins as the running backs coach; he will also have the title of assistant head coach.  Mitchell was running backs coach for the Seattle Seahawks since 1999; prior to his stint with the Seahawks, he was the coach for Morgan State from 1996-98.  He also played for 9 seasons in the NFL in the 1980s.
