The head coaching situation for the Redskins is beginning to crystalize. Channel 7’s Tim Brant reports that owner Dan Snyder has an offer on the table for Steve Spagnuolo to leave his job as defensive coordinator of the New York Giants to roam the sideline as the main man in Washington. The Giants are said to be throwing big money “Spags” way to keep him with the Super Bowl champions. Meanwhile, if Spagnuolo isn’t pried from the Big Apple, former Giants head coach Jim Fassel is waiting in the wings to take over for the retired Joe Gibbs.
