Redskins To Interview Spagnuolo Today
Posted by Matt Loede on February 5th, 2008 filed in NewsOwner Dan Snyder of the Washington Redskins will conduct his sixth, and perhaps last, interview today with a candidate to replace Joe Gibbs as head coach. Snyder will talk with the defensive coordinator of the Super Bowl champion New York Giants. Steve Spagnuolo had to wait to talk about the slot with the ‘Skins until after Sunday’s stunning upset of the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 42. Before joining the Giants, the 48-year-old Spagnuolo was with the Philadelphia Eagles and helped shape that excellent defensive unit. Numerous media outlets report that a new coach could be introduced sometime this week.

Spagnuolo’s background very simalar to Gibbs, but on the Defensive side of the ball. After slamming best team in history and the Cowgirls, it would be terrible not to give him a shot.

Its true. If I were the Giants, especially Jerry Reese, I’d be extremely P.O.ed but still cool and calm under pressure like Reese.
