Mariucci to Talk to Snyder and Cerrato Before Sunday’s Super Bowl

The Washington Times is reporting that former Niners and Lions coach Steve Mariucci will interview with owner Dan Snyder and executive vice president Vinny Cerrato here before Super Bowl XLII. The “Mooch” is a lifetime 75-71 in his coaching career with the two teams he was with. Right now the favorite for the job remains former Giants head coach Jim Fassel, but if the Mooch has a good interview, who knows what the Skins will do next. The position has remained opened since Joe Gibbs quit on January 8th.
