Snyder

There is a new development in the search for a new coach for the Redskins.  Jim Mora, Jr. is scheduled to meet today with the former coach of the Atlanta Falcons and current assistant with the Seattle Seahawks for a second time in Indianapolis.  Ron Meeks became the fifth and last contender interviewed by team owner Dan Snyder.  Meeks has been the defensive coordinator with the Indianapolis Colts in recent years.

Former Washington cornerback Darrell Green is ticketed for the Hall-of-Fame soon, perhaps this year, and seems to be leaning toward Gregg Williams, who had been the highest-paid assistant coach in the league at more than $2-million-per-year.  Jason Garrett has decided to stay with the Dallas Cowboys as an assistant coach instead of taking the head job in Baltimore or Atlanta.  The former quarterback is now the highest-paid assistant coach at $3-million-per-season.
