Skins Fire Williams as their Defensive Coordinator

Jay Glazer, of FOXSports.com, reports the Skins, who are still without a head coach, have fired defensive coordinator Gregg Williams. He is widely considered one of the best and most aggressive minds in the league. Williams, who was the highest paid defensive coordinator in the NFL, had one year remaining on his contract.

Cerato Named Redskins Executive Vice President

Vinny Cerato is now Executive Vice President of Football Operations for the Redskins.  Owner Daniel Snyder says Cerato will assume responsibility for all aspects of the team’s football organization such as personnel, the team roster, scouting and salary cap management.
