Injuries Not Likely To Factor Much For Skins Sunday

Redskins coach Joe Gibbs is 15-16 against Dallas over the course of his two stints as the team’s head coach.  But this week he’s far from worried about what the record books say about his record, and more worried about the immediate consequences of doing so.

Injured starting quarterback Jason Campbell isn’t going to be around for Sunday’s game against Dallas, but a bevy of other players battling injuries will be.  Among them will be fullback Mike Sellers, who told reporters after practice that the concussion he sustained Sunday against the Vikings won’t be an issue at all when the team takes the field against the Cowboys this weekend.

The only other Redskins who may join Campbell on the sidelines because of injuries are backup tightend Todd Yoder, who is dealing with a knee injury, and backup offensive lineman Mike Pucillo, who is hampered by a back injury.  Of the two, Coach Joe Gibbs says Yoder has the better chance of playing.  The Redskins only need to win on Sunday to lock up the final NFC playoff spot.  But if they lose, they can still back in provided that Minnesota and New Orleans also lose.
