Collins Makes it Back After Birth of Third Child

Redskins quarterback Todd Collins had a hectic week with a game Sunday night in New Jersey after heading to Massachusetts to join his wife for the birth of their child.  Center Casey Rabach says the backup signal caller, who now is the top gun since a knee injury to Jason Campbell, was flown to Boston by owner Daniel Snyder on Friday and was back for a walk through Sunday afternoon in the Meadowlands before Washington beat the Giants, 22-10.  The Redskins are 2-0 with Collins at the helm and will try to make it three straight Sunday night under the Metrodome against the Minnesota Vikings.  A win keeps the “Burgundy and Gold” in the hunt for the second wild card playoff berth in the NFC.
