Redskins Look To Cut Giants Down To Size Sunday Night
Posted by Matt Loede on December 15th, 2007 filed in NewsThe Redskins have a key NFC East battle on the road with the New York Giants Sunday evening. The “Burgundy and Gold” has to run the table the last three weeks of the regular season for a shot at a wild card playoff berth. Offensive lineman Randy Thomas is on injured reserve with swelling in his left arm. Without Thomas in the lineup the rest of the season, it will be harder to protect quarterback Todd Collins. The veteran says he’ll be rooting for his teammates. Guard Rick DeMulling has been signed to replace Thomas. Washington will try to generate more of a running game on offense while playing hard nose defense in New Jersey this weekend.
