Skins Back From Four Days Off
Posted by Matt Loede on December 12th, 2007 filed in NewsThe Redskins are practicing again, gearing up for Sunday night’s road test with the New York Giants in New Jersey. Todd Collins will start at quarterback for the first time since 1997, on for the injured Jason Campbell. Collins is NFC Offensive Player of the Week after shining in a win over the Chicago Bears last week. Linebacker London Fletcher wants to just play the game without feeling the heat of post season pressure. The Burgundy and Gold have signed quarterback Jason Fife to the practice squad. Fife last played with the New Orleans Saints and was cut before the start of the regular season. He first signed as a rookie free agent with the Detroit Lions three years ago and also has spent time with the Minnesota Vikings. Also, the Redskins have released linebacker Tyson Smith from the practice squad.
